New Member Checklist

We welcome you to our online community and trust that together we will all grow our home businesses.

Once you have completed the initial registration, the next step in the process is for you to:

• Check your email and CONFIRM your registration (check spambox if necessary).
  
  

• Log into your new account with your username/password.
  
  

• Once you are logged in;  Edit Your Profile.
  
  A. Click on the Edit Your Profile submenu you see under the menu bar Profiles
  
  B. Hover over Edit at the top of your profile
  
  C. Click on Update Your Profile
  
  D. Update the information in your profile tabs accordingly
  
  

• KEY PIECE OF INFO: Upload your Profile Image on the Portrait tab. (If you need an advertising graphic made, search our Business Category listings under Graphic Design, or visit my personal referral Heidilyn Originals.) Note: If you have trouble uploading the image, and it's below the size requirements,  send it to info[at]refermyhomebiz.com and and we'll try uploading it for you.
  
  

• KEY PIECE OF INFO: Add the description about why you are passionate about your business.
  
  

• Watch the What Makes Us Unique Prezi that will show you how invaluable Refermyhombiz.com is to both members and guests alike!
  
  
  

• Increase the exposure of your business profile by adding the URL for your profile to your signature in email and in forums. Plus, be sure to mention that you have joined us in Facebook and on Twitter. We'll do the same for your business!
  
  
  

• Add one of our Site Badges to your website or blog with the URL for your profile. See our Site Badges & Logos for options.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  

Please be aware!

Your business will not be visible publicly in our Membership Lists (ex:  New Profiles ) until you have told us a little something about why you are passionate about your business. 


Did you get a chance during the initial registration to read the Before Registering - Please Read. I know...it's one more thing to read and it's more fun to go maverick on these things... but who knows, it might actually have some helpful information there. You won't know if you don't check it out.

By the way, when you Update Your Profile you can also change any previous information you used for the registration process if necessary and add additional photos, make connections with other members and more!
