The Power Of Change

What kind of day, week month would you design for yourself if you truly had the opportunity to start from scratch? If you knew you would make enough money from the work you chose to support every one of your needs and desires, what work would you want to do?

Many people fall into careers, or get pushed into them by others, that really do not fulfill who they are on the inside (their authentic self) and what they really want to share with the world. They feel trapped, frustrated and alone in their misery. If only they could make a change...

But CHANGE is such a big scary word and its worse when it involves other people we love (spouses, children, and aging parents). After all, many of us are not 20 years old anymore and we cannot just make a change on a whim.

So...along comes LIFE and all the sudden you find yourself part of the downsized group or one of the ones hard hit with layoffs and before you know it, CHANGE has come to your home. Many of us have been there and we know how it feels.

Of course that is the worst of times, but it can also be the best of times. Maybe this is the time that you need to evaluate ALL that you can do; instead of placing your skills in a narrow job market, you can realize how much more you have to offer. You can develop your passions; work with people, products and projects that give more meaning to your life.

You can take skills you have that you've always had that have been undeveloped, like aspects of your personality that you've always enjoyed about yourself but you never really had the chance to make money from before and you can start making a CHANGE that works FOR YOU!

Times are changing, these days it's a whole new ballgame. People are making money not just from their J.O.B’s but from their passions and it’s allowing them to have true financial freedom and not only change their finances, but change their relationships and their life for the better.

Every day, we hear from people who have been forced to make a life career change and it has turned out to be the best, worst thing that has ever happened to them because without that push, they might have continued on being miserable.

You deserve more than that. Life is short so if you had to design your best day from scratch...what would it incorporate? And better yet, what kind of people would you surround yourself with?

I've had the pleasure of watching and mentoring many people who decided that a home based business with my network marketing company was something they wanted to pursue.

I've witnessed people who were once so shy talking to people on the phone blossom before my eyes (and ears!). I've seen people who were computer challenged rise to the occasion and become internet savvy virtually overnight. I've seen other new leaders be nervous before a training call and afterwards glow like there is no tomorrow because they've helped and mentored someone who was newer than them.

People receive an enormous sense of satisfaction from helping others. Whether they are talking to them on the phone, in person, training them or just cheering someone else along, it makes a difference in them as people. They grow, they learn, and they are proud of their accomplishments. It doesn’t even matter if you just “met” the person over the phone; you can develop a great bond with them that really does matter in your life.

That is one of the reasons I've so enjoyed the journey I've had in network marketing. It's not something I sought out initially, it was something I fell into like so many others have (yes, even seriously dragging my feet), but it has been something that has changed my life for the better and I'm so very grateful I found it. Without my home business to fall back on, the world would look like a dark and scary place.
